When Life Gives You Lemons, Make a Lemonade Stand

July 11, 2016 • Contributor: Julie May

Kids love lemonade stands. They love making the signs, stirring the lemonade, and, of course, collecting the money. With inflation and technology, today’s lemonade stand might look a little more, shall we say, sophisticated? Since Cricut is kid-friendly, young entrepreneurs can make their own signage (under adult supervision) and other fun add-ons to attract sales.

We’ve managed to squeeze in a few projects from the TomKat Studio, featuring the perfect lemon theme just in time for summer fun.

A backdrop sets the tone for the stand.

Cute tent cards serve as price tags.

When your customers are drinking their lemonade, complete with this adorable straw, people will ask, “Where did you buy that?” Striped straws are sold at most party stores.

This sign will stop traffic.

Just in case your kids want to add more to the inventory, like baked treats, here are some fun toppers.

  2. I am trying to customize this project, but I have not been able to locate the identical font used to create the word “lemonade.” Can you please help me? Thank you!
