Warm and Welcomed: Keep Your Wedding Guests Feeling Cozy

November 16, 2016 • Contributor: Scarlet Letters Copywriting

What could be more romantic than a winter wedding? Picture it: a crackling fire, rich colors, savory treats and—perhaps best of all—glowing in the comfort of knowing that your budget is being helped by the off-season prices.  If you say “I do” to winter nuptials, be sure that your guests feel warm and welcomed. Below are some of our favorite ways to ensure that this happens!

A tablescape with rustic tones of brown and metallic establishes an inviting and cozy feeling in even the chilliest of settings.

Here’s another festive look. This holiday place setting doesn’t take itself too seriously, and gives everyone a warm welcome to all.

Before you take that walk down the aisle, consider trading the traditional bridal slippers for something unexpected… and very, very toasty. The Australian retailer Ugg offers a bridal line! It’s aptly named “I Do,” and we think you’ll fall in love with it.

You could even give lovely pashminas as favors for your guests. This simple stack of snug fabrics in soft colors is so pleasing to the eye.

Baby, it’s cold outside. Make sure everyone stays comfy and bundled by having blankets available. You’ll find what you need to create this station in Design Space.

Without a doubt, some of your most important guests are your bridesmaids. Make sure they’re
comfortable! We adore these cozy stoles, and they’d go great with a variety of dress styles.

If your approach is a bit less serious, you’ll go head over heels for this lighthearted favor! Give them as attendant gifts or favors.

S’mores: they’re not just for the campfire anymore. Offer your guests a variety of options so they can build and then roast their own treats. Warm marshmallows on a cold night? Yes, please. Check out this project now in Design Space.

“Donut” dismiss this fantastic idea for later in the evening: hot coffee with mini donuts! Few guests
will be able to resist this clever presentation from Martha Stewart.

And, finally, send them home with warm wishes… and all the makings for a delicious cup of hot cocoa.  This mouthwatering project is waiting for you now in Design Space.

Everyone’s heart is warm at a winter wedding… and we hope that these projects have inspired ways to keep hands, toes and noses comfy as well!
