DIY Your Hometown Pride

November 29, 2016 • Contributor: Shelby Jones

Whether you are going home for the holidays or starting traditions in a new town. There is something to be said about expressing your love for your hometown love!  We think your plans this weekend should include your coziest outfit of choice, a good cup of hot chocolate, and a crafter-noon that goes into the late evening crafting up your hometown pride! Don’t worry you’re not alone on this, we’ve rounded up a few of our favs to get you feeling the inspiration. Check out these amazing projects:

Sometimes all you need in life is a good mug with your favorite state on it to make you feel right at home.  We LOVE how easy this project is to whip up for you or someone else.  It may just be the season, but imagine neighbor gifts for the holiday season.  We vote yes please!

Did you recently move into a new city?  Let everyone know where they can send this year’s Christmas cards to with a handmade card that you created from you new craft space!

Whether you’re a long time local or new to the area we know one of our favorite things is checking out the local farmers markets!  Bring along your DIY reusable tote to carry all the goodies you just found at the Saturday market!

There are so many fun ideas to share your love for your home and we hope these few have inspired you to create even more! We want to see what you have created to show your love for your community.  What projects are you making? Share with us your hometown story with #sayitwithcricut

  1. I just want to say how amazing your machine is. Sadly I lost mine in a house fire last month. To anyone who is hesitant to buy one I say go for it. Ibused mine daily. And omg the little Christmas village stuff was sooooo fun!
