Parents know the struggle is real when trying to get kids to put down their devices and pick up books. Thank goodness school is back in session making reading a bit more palpable.

Let’s get kids excited about book reading right in time for International Literacy Day on September 8th by crafting one-of-a-kind bookmarks. And this year’s theme is Literacy and Sustainable Societies – which is perfect since we are going to show you some DIY bookmark projects that can be made with recycled paper.

But reading is for all ages so make a bookmark for yourself and a friend. We’ve got a slew of designs to get you started. Hey, we’re always on the same page.
