DIY Popcorn Box for Game Day
September 4th, 2018 • Contributor: Cricut Design Team Manager Dezi Moss
It’s Game Day and time to party! Make these popcorn boxes to show some football spirit.
Materials:
1: Open Project Instructions
Begin by opening Cricut Design Space using this link to the project, Football Play Popcorn Boxes. This project makes one popcorn box, but you can customize it to make as many as you need!
2. Cut Materials
Load your Iron-on and let the Cricut Maker do the rest! Don’t forget to mirror the image!
3: Weed

Use a sharp hook Cricut® Tools Weeder tool to remove the negative spaces from the iron-on liner. Leave the pieces of the design on the plastic backer.
4: Transfer Your Design

Align and place the design on the paper. Use a Cricut EasyPress or household iron and heat for the designated time.

I know it sounds crazy to use iron-on for paper, but not having to deal with strong transfer tape ripping your paper is a dream!

Wait for the liner to cool and slowly move it away from the cardstock.
5: Fold Score Lines

Look for the score lines and fold every last one.
6. Assemble Box

Form the box and glue the tabs.
There you go! You have a popcorn box and you are ready to party!
XOXO,
Dezi
