Celebrate the Festival of Lights With These Quick, Easy DIY Hanukkah Projects

December 11th, 2017 • Contributor: Cricut Marketing Director Tiffany Isbell

Tomorrow kicks off 8 nights of celebration for the Hanukkah season.  As with all holidays, sometimes we leave things to the last minute!  Whether you want to give a last-minute card, decorate your house, or even get the kids involved, we have a little bit of something for each of you.

Design Space has a host of ready-made Hanukkah related images that you can use for quick projects.  We made these fun pillows in just a few easy minutes!

These fun cards are also easily made with just one or two sheets of cardstock. We even used metallic poster board on one of them. Don’t forget to use your scoring stylus for the best fold lines. There are many single cut cards for you to personalize.

Not to be outdone, here’s a fast and safe way to have your kids light their own menorah. We simply used silver and gold window cling on the glass from a picture frame. You could even use your own window! For this technique, we used a 3-step process:

  1. Find an image of a menorah
  2. Use the Slice tool to separate the flames from the base
  3. Change the flame color to gold so it will cut on a separate mat

We can’t wait to see what you make for the holiday season! Use #CricutMade to show us your projects.

Happy Hanukkah 😊
