How To Cricut-ize Your 2018 Planner

December 30th, 2017 • Contributor: Jen Causey from Something Turquoise

I am officially addicted to my planner, as I’m sure many of you are. Especially when you’re a crafter, creating a cute planner is like creating a mini-scrapbook every week or even every day. I use a different colored pen for each type of task, I plan out my week ahead of time adding cute stickers and motivational notes, and I revel in crossing off my to-do’s off my lists. My name is Jen Causey and I’m the turquoise-crazed owner and maker of Something Turquoise, a wedding blog that celebrates the DIY bride. Today I’m swooning over all things planner and sharing some of my favorite planner projects that you can make using your Cricut machine. Warning: this post may inspire you to creatively plan something!

The best. Cricut’s Print then Cut feature is the ULTIMATE tool for creating your own custom planner stickers. Here are some of my favorites but know that the internet is FULL of them! Doing a quick search for “Cricut planner stickers” on Pinterest will return a massive amount of free files to embellish your planners with. How hilarious are these “trash day” planner stickers!?! Dying!

DIY Planners: Plan on Personalization

7 (2)Did you have a Chandler organizer in 8th grade? If you did, you probably decorated it with magazine cutouts and Polaroids of your friends. Sometimes it was a fun competition to see who had the most creative planner. Today, you still need a planner to organize your busy life, and while you don’t want a teen heartthrob plastered all over August, you still want your planner to be personalized.
