When deciding on a Cricut Machine, there are so many amazing options, including the Cricut Explore Air 2™ Special Edition Martha Stewart Machine Bundle, available exclusively at Michaels. I'm Charynn Olsheski from Pineapple Paper Co. and I've been using the Martha Stewart Explore Air 2 for several months, and I love how easy it is to plan and create parties with this machine and the Martha Stewart content in Design Space! In addition to the gorgeous pearl and gold machine and tools, Michaels carries a line of Martha Stewart exclusive Cricut Iron-On™ and vinyl that will help you create a gorgeous palette for your Cricut projects.
Every week in November, I will share a post that will show you all of the amazing DIY party supplies you can create with your Martha Stewart machine, materials, and content in Design Space. I will be breaking down a gorgeous (and easy!) birthday party that you can recreate or use as inspiration to plan the perfect party with your Cricut!
With your purchase of a Martha Stewart Cricut Explore Air 2, you get access to 25 exclusive projects and designs created for Design Space. There are also a TON of additional Martha Stewart images that are available that can be used to create a gorgeous party. Would you believe that I made more than A DOZEN different projects with the Martha Stewart Cricut Explore Air 2 for this party? I used the Martha Stewart exclusive designs to create all of the projects, and I’ll be sharing the Cricut Design Space links for you to use!
The first step in creating a party is designing a stunning invitation, which of course can be crafted from scratch using your Cricut!
Click to Make: Pink, Navy & Gold Invitation & Coordinating Envelope
Like other Explore Air 2 machines, the Martha Stewart edition can cut, write and score in 1-step. And you will need them all when creating this invitation and accompanying envelope. Using cardstock, Cricut pens, and iron on vinyl (yes! IRON ON!), you can craft invitations to stage the perfect party theme. You can always, of course, check out all of the Cricut cutting materials to create the perfect color theme to match your party.
I used a Glitter Gold Cricut Pen to draw this intricate gold design on the invitations.
Using Iron-on Vinyl on paper is quickly becoming my new favorite technique. I used Gold Iron-on on the main invitation and on the envelope the luxe Navy Martha Stewart Cricut Iron-on available exclusively at Michaels. How gorgeous does the delicate navy pattern look on these envelopes?!
In addition to invitations, I love creating special gift wrap for birthdays and other celebrations. Using a Martha Stewart 3D flower image, I created this stunning navy gift-wrapped box that anyone would love to receive.
For a second gift wrapping idea, you can make a beautiful, yet quick and easy tag out of cardstock and gold Cricut Iron-on that uses the same pattern from the invitation and envelope.
Follow on in the coming weeks to see how I designed and created the rest of the party with the Cricut Explore Air 2™ Special Edition Martha Stewart Machine Bundle. Next week I will be sharing how to make some simple party decorations!
