One Couple’s Wedding Journey: The Rehearsal

It’s Your Story. Make It Personal.

With these words in mind, we at Cricut decided to craft one of our most ambitious projects ever: a complete marriage celebration with over 100 amazing projects.  Why? Well, we’ve seen personally how DIY weddings allow a bride to add her own unique spin to the most important day of her life--a day that is a reflection of the courageous love story two people share. And, well, we couldn’t help but be inspired to the point where we wanted to try it out ourselves.

So, consider yourself cordially invited to the DIY event of the year… our very lovely, very Cricut wedding! Meet our couple, Hailey and Brent, and discover how they got ready for their walk down the aisle with a Rehearsal Dinner that’s oh-so-inviting….

Introducing Hailey and Brent, two unique individuals who shared a dream for a celebration that was a true reflection of their romance.

As their Rehearsal Dinner guests arrived, the scene was set for fun, companionship and candlelit conversations beneath a gorgeous billowing canopy.  Our esteemed partner, FiftyFlowers.com, were a dream-come-true to work with and provided the stunning farm-to-event blooms specially for this occasion. Then, floral designer Rachael MacLaughlin of Roots Flowers, Inc. arranged them into bright, beautiful centerpiece displays. Talk about teamwork!

A DIY paper garland invited oohs, ahhs and the clinking of glasses at this festive bar station. As it was made of paper instead of real plants, the young couple had the option to re-use this piece on the mantle of their first home together.

Beneath the garland, a banner regally proclaimed the couple’s initials with an elegant font that was specially designed for the event.

Guests mingled and then wandered to their seats, draped with silk chiffon and tied back with tags using the same script.

Who wouldn’t want to have a seat at such sumptuous table placeholders?

On the fabulously crafted menu for the evening was a full course of reminiscing with more than a sprinkle of laughter.

After the meal, Hailey wanted to thank her bridesmaids and maid of honor with something she knew they’d love. These handcrafted soaps with DIY tags in the wedding’s signature font came out pristine and pretty.

Hailey and her besties shared a special moment as the gifts were passed around.

Don’t leave out the gentlemen! These leather satchels were personalized with the groomsmen’s initials.

Memories were made. Laughter was shared. And the best part of all… the wedding was right around the corner!

The Rehearsal Dinner set the perfect mood for Hailey and Brent’s big event: it was personal, sophisticated and uniquely them. But the creativity and inspiration didn’t end there. Check out Hailey and Brent’s journey in Cricut’s incredible video of their special day. It’s the ultimate wedding production of the season….

See you at the altar!

  2. I am nominating my fiancé Shina Saechao! I nominate her because she deserves it! Shina is the most amazing, kind hearted, puts everyone first before herself. She is also the mother of my beautiful children. Shina is the type of person who will give her only dollar to a person that is need of it even though she needs it herself. Our children are her number one priority and make sure they have everything they need. She takes care of them. She is the most beautiful person I know inside and out, even though she doesn’t think so, she is! I love this women to with everything I got. She has the heart of gold and if you asked anyone, everyone would tell you she did. So thats why I think she should win. Thank you for taking your time to read this and have a great day
