Free Cut of the Week: Mini Books

May 18, 2016 • Contributor: Dawn Cardinale & Shanon Kendall

What has more personal style than a scrapbook? One you make all your own! With this week's Free Cut, create sweet miniature books, special cards and envelopes, and even an "explosion box" with multiple layers for a delightful surprise and impressive presentation. Create unique gifts that everyone will cherish, or a custom mini book for yourself.

The Mini-Book Digital Cartridge is available for free until May 25.

Use mini books to remember life’s little details.

There’s a whole lot of love in this tiny package!

The Mini Books image set includes a variety of page styles so you can easily create a one-of-a-kind book!

Once assembled, add photos and embellishments to make the book your own.

Now you can hold your memories in the palm of your hand!

Don’t let assembly intimidate you! These books are really easy to put together. Stack your pages in order. Starting at the center hole in the back cover, thread a length of twine up and down through the holes in all of the pages and both covers. Pull the twine to tighten the binding. Knot the twine back where you started at the center hole of the inside back cover. Trim with scissors. Add photos and embellishments and you are done!

For instructions on how to assemble each book, please see the online handbook here

  1. I’m new to the freebies… them, but how do you download to use at a later date?
